Spiritual Spring Cleaning

Each Spring Comes at God’s very timing. The first spring flowers are up and alive. The weeds are growing like they had never stopped, and underneath the weeds the grass is rising up to the top.

Birds are already moving into available bird houses and making thier nests in trees. The animals are all waking up and life is once again on the move.

The dread of the dark, cold winter days and nights has passed and spring has come once again.

It always feels like a renewal to me. Every spring, when all things come alive again, I seem more alive as well. I get outdoors and actually see the neighbors, work on my lawn, and plant flowers. My home also needs a spring makeover. Cleaning, dusting, updating, and the list goes on… I try including physical activity; even if minimal.

But how often do we take the time to renew our spirit? I recommend adding this to your list. Spiritual Spring Cleaning. Take the time to renew your spirit every day.

Focus on Spiritual Cleansing through our Lord Jesus Christ.
